Places
I’ve always thought it weird how places can evoke particular emotions in human beings, and how drastically those emotions can be affected or altered, depending on time or weather. It’s always an interesting challenge to try and capture these emotions, or frame a scene to induce a particular reaction. See how these make you feel.
People
Of all the skills I’ve learned since I began, I still enjoy taking pictures of people the most. Succeeding in capturing even a fragment of the relationship between two people – be they friends, family or spouses – is one of the most fulfilling things I can do as a photographer.
Animals
Animals are always fun to photograph, whether they’re ostentatiously posing or ignoring me and going about their day. Cats, I’ve found, are prone to both in equal measure. I’m currently endeavouring towards buying myself a longer lens for more active wildlife photography.
Things
Sometimes something just catches your eye. It could be its colour or shape, or it might just appear to comprise its own little tableau. This gallery is a collection of those things, and they’ve all obligingly agreed to be featured.
